Not officialy from Trentino, really not sure what is going on with Italian labelling regulations, it's DOC but also V.Q.P.R.D?? Anyhow this is a cracking wine. Deep in colour, lovely bitter sweet nose with dark black cherry, red cherry and hints of liquorice. It's really bright and full of fruit, loads of rich sweet black cherry and plum fruit, crunchy tannins and a hint of creamy oak, touch of liquorice too. Really very good indeed, real energy to the wine.
