I know next to nothing about this other than I think this particular I.G.T is in Sardinia. I'm guessing Carignan but maybe others as it's remarkably soft and plush.
The nose was closed at first but on drinking the depth of fruit was really good with loads of sweet cheery, plum and almost mocha flavours that linger on the palate.
The nose does open up a little over time but really doesn't do the palate justice even hours after being opened. Remarkably soft but still with bright primary fruit and long silky finish.
A real surprise and most delicious
