Only made in great vintages. This IWC trophy winner is mightily impressive. Ripe, meaty nose with pepper, spice and creamy oak with a wealth of black fruits. It's powerful and rich on the palate, meaty and savoury with black olive and spice, meat and black fruits, lots of black pepper too. It's got a lovely full ripe palate with more than a passing nod to the Northern Rhone, just a touch riper. Really complex and sure to age well. It's envloped in lovely sweet fruit, top quality!
