Another of the Paul Mas wines 10 award winners in the this years top 100 Vin de Pays, or as it's now known top 100 PGI. This is a lovely silky, rich merlot. Ripe plum and cherry on the nose with a touch of oak. It's very soft and approachable with lovely ripe plum and red berry fruit, a touch of spice and creamy oak. The tannins are round and soft and this is an immediate approachable style, with real generosity and great fruit.
