I was recommended to try the wines from this small family cellar, where for Oregon the prices are pretty reasonable i am told. This is their largest bottling, a blend from several vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Has a gamey, smokey, meaty nose with some ripe berry fruit. It's a dense style, really quite gamey, savoury and spicy, some oak too. It's quite an extracted style if not hugely alcoholic, i find some green notes and is not a style i particularly like. Quite a harsh finish. Lacks freshness and vibrancy. Got others to try, so lets see.
