A new release from Pacific Rim. This is demeter certified biodynamic in the farming of the lyre trained single vineyard-Wallula and in the winemaking. 7g/lt residual sugar. Hints of petrol on the nose with ripe apple, lime and grapefruit, hints of tropical fruit. It's crisp and pretty fresh though into first development phase. I really like the ripe apple, peach, guava fruit, but it lacks a little clarity on the finish. Is not quite tangy enough, and the fruit has a slight -bruised/oxidative feel- very slight but just not quite fresh enough. Worth following as an interesting style for sure.
