This has been a shop regular in recent times. Sadly the price has crept up due to the government... It's a lovely fresh Sangiovese, that is seemingly unoaked. Ripe red and black cherry on an inviting nose. It's bright and juicy, medium bodied and full of vibrant cherry fruit, a hint of plum too and soft tannins. It's a lovely appealing drink me style, can take a light chill and was just perfect with some burgers tonight.
Uncomplicated yet hugely appealing Sangiovese.
