A really delicious, fresh, screw capped Chenin Blanc. Ripe apple, pear and lime citrus on the nose some honey too. Really tangy on the palate with again ripe apple, grapefruit, peach and lime. Clean and crisp it's dry fresh and tangy and a cracking drink for £5.69. Has been very consistent over the last few years and is yet another wine that shows Chenin is both a great value, and a cracking wine in the Cape.

Alpha Zeta 'S' Soave 2009

Alpha Zeta are a fabulous modern range of wines from Veneto made by Matt Thomson a much awarded New Zealand winemaker. This brand new Soave is delicious. Zesty citrus fruit, a touch of parmesan and pear drop too. Really fresh and vibrant on a zippy palate. Crisp sherbet-like citrus and pear fruit. Dry, clean and really refreshing but with loads of tangy fruit lifting this miles ahead of most innocuous Soave. Great stuff!!
